Rain finds every weakness. I’ve watched enough driveways crack and sink after a wet winter on Long Island to know that getting the base right isn’t optional. It’s the whole job. We dig properly, we grade it right, and we make sure the drainage is working before a single inch of asphalt goes down.

Babylon Paving has been doing this work out of Babylon, NY for years now. We cover Suffolk County, and we know these neighborhoods. We’ve laid blacktop around the corner from the Wyandanch Fire Department, patched aprons on busy residential streets, and rebuilt driveways that other crews cut corners on.

Each material has its place. Asphalt is fast, durable, and handles freeze-thaw well. Interlock pavers look sharp and (if you ever need to get under them for utilities) they lift and relay clean. Concrete sits somewhere in between. We’ll tell you honestly which one makes sense for your property.

The work itself

We’re not a big crew that disappears halfway through a job. We show up, we keep it tidy, and we finish what we start. Drainage matters more than most people think. A flat-looking driveway that sheds water wrong will give you trouble inside two years. We’ve seen it plenty.
