Good. We fix them. We are Thornton Le Moors Builders, based in Cheshire, and we have been getting stuck into structural and general building work across this part of the North West for years.

A lot of jobs that come to us start the same way. Someone has a wall that has moved, a roof line that has dropped, or a house that has simply run out of space. We go in, look at what is actually there, and tell you straight what needs doing.

How we work

We do not dress it up. You get a price, a timeframe, and a team who turn up when they say they will. That is about as complicated as it needs to be.

We have worked on everything from small domestic repairs in Ellesmere Port to full rear extensions out near Stanlow and new builds closer to Helsby. The ground conditions around here can be heavy clay in places, and we account for that properly when we are digging foundations.

On the rendering side, we have done a fair bit of K Rend work on exterior walls, which holds up well in this climate. A lot of customers are surprised how much difference it makes to an older property. It is, frankly, one of the more straightforward wins on a renovation.

But the bigger structural jobs take the same attention. We handle the blockwork, the brickwork, the groundworks, the lot, so you are not juggling four different trades.
