What do we actually install? Here’s a straightforward answer.

• Block paving, including weed-proofing the joints properly once the surface is laid
• Resin bound surfaces, which drain through the surface itself
• Tarmac and asphalt, hot or cold lay depending on the job

We also carry out resurfacing and repair work. Is a full replacement always necessary? Honestly, no. A lot of the time a targeted repair to cracked or sunken sections, along with proper resealing, will add years to a surface that’s otherwise sound.

On the patio side, we work with the same surface choices, natural stone flags, porcelain, and block, so the finish can carry through from the drive to the garden if that’s what you’re after. We can also take on fencing, garden walling, and tidying up overgrown or waterlogged lawn areas where drainage work is needed underneath (that last one comes up more often than you’d think, especially on the heavier clay soils around Helsby).

What about drainage itself? We install soakaways and channel drainage where the ground or the planning requirements call for it. It’s not glamorous work, but it matters.
