What kind of work do we actually take on?

We handle everything from a cracked downpipe on a terraced house to a full uPVC replacement across a detached property. Seamless aluminium guttering, half-round profiles, ogee and square-line, cast iron restoration where the original ironwork is worth saving. We cover south Dublin and surrounding areas, including postcodes out to A94 and beyond.

Fascia and soffit replacement comes hand in hand with most gutter jobs, and we do that too. If the board behind the gutter is rotten, there is no point fitting new guttering over it. We deal with that first.

What do we see most often on older properties?

Blocked and sagging gutters are common, and nine times out of ten the underlying problem is gutter union seal silicone failure. The seal dries out, the joint weeps, and the water tracks back behind the fascia before anyone notices. We see it constantly on houses built in the eighties and nineties (honestly, it surprises me every time how long it goes undetected). Catching it early saves the fascia board and sometimes the soffit behind it.
