Who we are

We’ve been working on roofs across Carlow town and out towards Tullow, Muinebheag, and the Barrow Valley for years. We know the kind of weather this county throws at a roof. Moss, algae, lifting ridge tiles, blocked gutters, the lot.

What do we actually do?

Good question. Here’s the range of work we cover:

The algae treatment side of things is something we get called out for a lot. Left untreated, algae gets into the tile surface and causes real damage over time. We use a biocide-based soft wash treatment that kills it off properly, not just scrubs it back for six months.

What are we like to deal with?

Straight down the line, honestly. We show up when we say we will. We price the job fairly before we start. No surprises on the invoice, sure look, that’s the least anyone should expect from a tradesman.

We work on all the standard roof types you’ll find around Carlow, concrete tiles, slate, fibre cement. If it’s on top of a house, we’ve more than likely worked on it.

Why bother getting the roof seen to now?

Because small problems become big ones fast, especially heading into autumn. A cracked ridge tile lets water track down into the roof structure. A choked gutter backs up and causes fascia rot. Catching it early is always cheaper, however, most people wait until there’s a visible leak.
