Portmarnock Guttering
Portmarnock Guttering
Portmarnock, County Dublin: that’s where we’re based, and it’s where most of our work starts. We cover the whole north Dublin coastline and beyond, from D13 out to the wider Fingal area.
What do we actually do?
We fit, repair, and replace guttering on all kinds of properties. New builds, older semis, period houses with cast iron that needs restoring. We work with uPVC, aluminium seamless runs, ogee profiles, half-round, square-line. If water needs to get off your roof and away from your walls, that’s our job.
Our work covers:
- Full gutter replacement and new installations
- Downpipe repair and replacement, including downpipe back plate masonry fixings on solid walls
- Soffit and fascia replacement in uPVC
- Leaf guards and gutter mesh fitted to existing runs
- Hopper heads, rainwater outlets, and connection to soakaways and gullies
- Bracket re-spacing to restore proper fall where gutters are sitting wrong
We do a lot of bracket re-alignment work. You’d be surprised how many gutters are pitched the wrong way entirely, sitting there holding water instead of running it off.
Do you work through winter or during wet weather?
Straight answer: yes, most of the time. Gutter work is outdoor work and we’re used to Dublin weather. We won’t go up a ladder in high wind or on an iced-over roof, that’s just sense. However, a cold dry day in January is grand for a fascia run or a downpipe swap. We keep working right through the winter months.
Is there a better time to book than waiting until the gutters are already overflowing in November?
We know Malahide Road and the streets around the Clongriffin area well. We’ve done work near the Dublin Bus Clontarf depot run more than once, heading south to fit jobs in D3 before looping back north. We know this patch.
