How We Actually Build It

Before a single slab goes down, we sort the base. Properly. That means digging out to the right depth, then building up in compacted layers, sharp sand, hardcore, the lot. Skipping that step is how patios crack and sink inside two winters.

We collect a lot of our materials through established local suppliers. We have used Kilsaran’s yard on a regular basis, and knowing exactly where the stone is coming from matters to us when we are pricing a job honestly for a customer.

New Builds and Renovations

Plenty of our work is new patios on fresh ground. But we also get called in to lift and relay older work (sometimes done years back by someone who skipped the compaction). We sort the drainage, reset the levels, and relay it right.

It is straightforward work when it is done properly. Hard graft. No shortcuts.
