Materials we work with

We use good stone. That’s not something we’re vague about. Liscannor flagstone is one we come back to regularly, it has a character that suits older Dublin gardens well and it lasts. We also work with Indian sandstone, porcelain, and granite slabs depending on what suits your space and your budget.

A sound subbase requires a well-compacted hardcore layer, correct falls for surface water drainage, and appropriate bedding depth for the slab type being laid. Get that right and the patio stays right.

Renovations as well as new builds

Not every job is a blank canvas. We do a lot of work on existing gardens where the original patio has settled unevenly or the old lawn has seen better days. Sometimes it’s a full lift and relay, sometimes it’s targeted repair work. We’ll tell you which one makes sense.

We’re based in Phibsborough and work right across the northside. Most of our customers are within a reasonable distance of D7, though we cover a wider area depending on the job.
