A bit about who we are

A customer once told me her old patio had been “wonky since 1987.”

That made me laugh. It also reminded me why getting the groundwork right from day one matters so much. We take the preparation as seriously as anything that goes on top.

What we do

We cover all the main patio materials people around Great Wakering and the surrounding villages tend to ask about.

One job I genuinely enjoy is fitting low-voltage lighting integrated into steps, the kind that looks subtle during the day but transforms the whole garden come evening. It is one of those finishing touches that customers never knew they wanted until they see it working.

Beyond the patio itself

A lot of our enquiries come from people who want the full garden sorted, not just a square of slabs.

So we also put in new fencing, garden walling, turfed lawns and artificial grass. We can take a tired outdoor space and give it a proper shape. (I will admit the artificial grass divide is real, but once people see a well-fitted lawn on a tricky Essex clay plot, they usually come round to it.)

Where we work

We are based in Great Wakering itself, close to St Nicholas Church, and we work right across the local area including the SS3 postcode and beyond.

We know the ground conditions out here. Clay soil, poor drainage, the lot. That experience saves time and means fewer surprises once we start digging.
