Twenty years ago, started with one van and a ton of Dublin clay.

We’re Artane Patios, and we’ve been laying patios across Dublin’s northside for two decades. Started small, grew steady, and we’re still here because we do the job right the first time.

The coast here means we deal with everything. Sea-spray from Dublin Bay, heavy rain, frost that cracks poorly laid stones. We know what works and what doesn’t in our climate.

What We Do

Our team handles the full range of outdoor work:

• Patio installation using natural stone, block paving, porcelain tiles, concrete flagstones
• Roll-on turf and artificial grass installation
• Wooden fencing and garden wall construction
• Patio repairs and restoration
• Complete garden groundwork and drainage

We work with proper materials. Indian sandstone that won’t flake after two winters. Porcelain that actually drains. Block paving with decent sub-base that won’t sink when the rain comes.

Every job starts with proper groundwork. You can’t lay a decent patio on builders’ rubble and hope. We dig out, lay hardcore, compact it right, then build up from there.

Most of our work comes from recommendations. That tells you something about how we operate. We turn up when we say we will, finish when we promise, and clean up properly when we’re done.

We cover Dublin and surrounding areas. Been working the same neighbourhoods for years, so you’ll probably see our previous jobs around your area.

The weather here is rough on outdoor surfaces. Coastal salt exposure, freeze-thaw cycles, months of rain. We spec everything to handle what Dublin throws at it.

No cowboys, no cutting corners. We’ve seen too many botched jobs that need redoing after a few seasons.
