Materials and Standards

We work with asphalt shingles from reputable manufacturers, and cedar shake where clients want a more traditional finish. On flat roofs, modified bitumen membrane is typically the right call for our climate here in Ontario. The freeze-thaw cycle this region gets puts real stress on any flat roof surface.

Ventilation matters too, it is easy to ignore until moisture builds up in the decking and you have a bigger problem than you started with.
